Poggio Pollino

Travelling towards the Tenuta Poggio Pollino estate, we cross the border between Emilia and Romagna and gently climb the hills of Imola, along the Food and Wine Trail. The vineyards are situated on the lower slopes of the Romagna Apennines, and extend for 16 hectares on Monte Meldola, in the municipality of Imola, in the province of Bologna.

This is one of the finest areas for growing vines such as Sangiovese di Romagna and Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate benefits from a windy microclimate with moderately loose-packed soil, ideal for top-quality viticulture.
