Our entire hospitality experience is centered at the Tenuta La Rampata estate. This is where we welcome clients, tourists, and wine enthusiasts to help them discover the world and the signature style of Medici Ermete.
Dating back to the 19th century, the building is nestled among lush vineyards in the Enza River valley. The Estate is home to our Acetaia (where we produce Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia PDO), a wine museum, and a versatile center dedicated to our tours and tastings.
SENSORY EXPERIENCE OF OUR VINEGARS
After an introduction to our history, the terroir, and the grape varieties cultivated on the Estate, the tour gets to the heart of the experience: discovering the acetaia. Here, you will see the sets of wooden barrels where our Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia PDO is produced.
This is followed by a tasting of 3 different Traditional Balsamic Vinegars PDO (Lobster, Silver, and Gold labels), featuring different aging periods (minimum 12 years and over 25 years).
Duration: approx. 45 minutes
CLASSIC WINE AND VINEGAR TASTING TOUR
We will welcome you among the vineyards to share the story of the Medici family and our winery. We will then immerse you in the Medici Ermete Style as we explore the acetaia and its historic barrels, where we produce our Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia PDO. Next, it will be time to discover the Wine Museum and its collection of ancient tools.
This is followed by a tasting of 3 different Traditional Balsamic Vinegars PDO (Lobster, Silver, and Gold labels), aged for different periods (minimum 12 years and over 25 years), along with a tasting of 3 of our sparkling wines paired with a selection of light snacks.
Duration: approx. 1.5 hours
