It is with immense sadness and deep sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our beloved Chairman, Giorgio Medici, on September 12th.
Giorgio Medici led our company with integrity, passion and vision for many decades. Thanks to his knowledgeable leadership, the company has achieved important milestones, always keeping at the center of our activities the values of transparency at the service of all our business partners and all stakeholders of Medici Ermete.
Despite this great loss, we assure you that we will continue to carry forward his vision and his principles, committing ourselves to maintaining the trust you have placed in us.
The Board of Directors and the entire management team will work together to ensure a smooth transition and operational continuity, respecting the mission and values that our Chairman instilled in all of us.
In this regard, the property will soon formalize the transfer of the Presidency of the company to his son Alberto Medici, CEO of Medici Ermete since 2014, who together with his daughter Alessandra, his grandson Pierluigi and the entry into the Board of Directors of the fifth generation of the family Alessandro (son of Alberto) will continue to maintain intact the Values, Identity and Style of Medici Ermete.
We are sure that the memory of Giorgio Medici, an authentic Example and lighthouse for all of us, will remain alive in the hearts of anyone who had the privilege of knowing him and collaborating with him.
